Snorri Geir Hafþórsson - Acting

Snorri Geir will be graduating from Acting with his film “No one enters the Light broken”

Hjalmar awakens in a coma and meets a creature that follows him to the end of the road where he has to choose where he deserves to go

What is the first film experience you remember that had an impact on you?

I remember always watching Robbie Rotten in Lazytown at a dinner party at my grandparents' house, and then I had the first two Pokemon movies on tape that I watched over and over again.

What fascinates you about filmmaking?

What fascinates me the most is the world that is created, the people around it and the technology that emerges to create this world.

Why did you choose Acting?

Ever since I can remember, I have always been interested in acting, whether it was at home with toys, on stage or in a movie. I took an acting course at the age of eleven, and after that I joined an amateur theater company. But it wasn't until I was in high school that I decided acting was what I wanted to do in the future.

Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?

I was surprised how much you learned about filmmaking as a whole, not just acting. Also the people I met, the friends I made and everything I experienced in other people's projects.

And what does the future look like?

It is bright and hopefully with lots of opportunities around the corner.
