Hera Rún will be graduating from Acting with her film “Check on me”
Silja is a single mother who buys a webcam in consultation with a doctor to monitor her daughter's night terrors and sleep.
It doesn't take long before strange things begin to happen...
What is the first film experience you remember that had an impact on you?
When I was 4 years old and watched "Grease" for the first time. The singing, the actors, the dancing and the story. Wanted nothing more than to be a part of it all.
What fascinates you about filmmaking?
Just everything. Everything is possible in cinema and it's so amazing to see talented people come together and create a masterpiece.
Why did you choose Acting?
Acting has always been at the forefront of my mind and what I enjoy the most. I don't see a future except being in this industry.
Did anything particularly surprise you during your studies?
Yes, what I thought I knew was only a fraction of what I had yet to learn.
And what does the future look like?
The future is bright and there is never too much fun and ideas to do. I'm just getting started.
