Arnór will graduate on the 27th of May from Creative Technology with his film "Beauty of darkness"
Everything seems to be going well with the charming and popular actor Daníel, who plays the lead role in Iceland's most popular play at the moment. But not everything is what it seems and Daniel seems to encounter one shock after another in his personal life. However, he tries to keep it completely to himself. But how far can you push your mental health for the sake of art and your position in society?
-What is the first movie experience you remember?
It was when I went to the cinema to see "The Lion King" at the age of 3.
-What fascinates you about filmmaking?
What fascinates me about filmmaking is creating something and seeing a story come to life.
-Why did you choose Creative Technology?
Since I was little, I have always been interested in recording videos, and I remember when I was in elementary school and got an old VHS video recorder from my great-grandfather and made a lot of short films and remakes with my friends, e.g. shows that were very popular at the time, the show “70 minutes” on Popptíví.
-Did anything particularly surprise you in the study?
What surprised me the most was that I got to know other departments of the school, even though I myself was on a technical course.
-And what does the future look like?
The future looks good as I have a job at RÚV and it is going very well and I have also been recording for Stöð 2.
