// About the Department
The curriculum of this department explores the practical aspects of filmmaking with special emphasis on cinematography, editing and sound design. Additional instruction is given in the fields of production design, special effects and color correction. Each student is also given the opportunity to deepen their learning in their particular field of interest through a short-term internship with industry professionals.We're looking for applicants who demonstrate both creativity and a strong interest in the above technical disciplines. All incoming students are expected to have excellent computer skills.
At the end of their studies our students graduate with the title “Filmmaker - Specializing in Creative Film Techniques” and will have acquired the skills and qualifications to work in film and television production and related fields.
The department offers editing, cinematography, sound recording among a diverse selection of other courses.
