// Our Facilities

The Icelandic Film School is located at one of Reykjavík's main cultural and geographical crossroads and is easily accessible by public transportation from all corners of the metropolitan area. Directly across the street from the school you'll find the Reykjavík City Theatre and Iceland's largest shopping mall, complete with movie theaters, restaurants, shops and a public library. The home of the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service is a three-minute walk away.
Our main building houses classrooms, a large lecture hall/screening room, a cafeteria and three computer labs stocked with the most up-to-date equipment and postproduction software. Across the street, in the old printing factory of Iceland's largest newspaper, we're planning a state-of-the-art studio and equipment room. Our primary screening facility is the Bío Paradís, Reykjavík's home for independent cinema.
