Board of Directors
The school's board of directors consists of five individuals nominated by the school's owners. Our board members usually come from a variety of professional backgrounds and have widespread connections to Icelandic cultural life. The board's term of service is two years and the board is in session from the first of August each year. The board of directors is the highest authority within the school. It maps out the future policy of the school and is responsible for managing the school and its finances. It is also responsible for hiring the school's dean and relieving him or her from his or her duties if necessary.
